You'll need a pump sprayer of some kind (backpack or canister) to mix this all natural garlic juice with water. You'll want to mix 4 ounces of mosquito barrier with 1 gallon of water and then spray all surfaces, plants, wooden decks, mulch etc. well (anything that can absorb the spray). For best results apply in the early morning or evening. Do not spray if rain is expected in the next 24-48 hours and do not water the lawn for 48 hours after the application. Spray until all surfaces are dripping wet. 1 Gallon of spray will typically cover between 500 and 1000 square feet of treatment area.
We've been using Mosquito Barrier for years on our clients yards with great success. The real key is covering everything possible and applying it in the morning when no rain is expected for a few days. It does smell like garlic for about the first 4-6 hours (people tell us it smells like a nice pizzeria when it's first applied) but the smell goes away pretty quickly. We've found that it lasts 2-4 weeks depending upon how much rain you get. People also really like that it works as a flea and tick repellent. In short, we love this all natural mosquito, flea and tick repellent - it works!
