The bag of Magic Salt was delivered promptly and efficiently. I have used it only once, but it was very effective. The ice on the sidewalk and front stoop melted quickly.

Magic Salt seems pretty expensive, but it is actually fairly economical: you don't need a lot of it because it starts melting right away, and melts for more time than, and doesn't dilute as fast as, plain salt/melter. It really is less caustic than traditional melter/salt, meaning your pets paws, as well as your concrete/cement will not get harmed. It is dirtier than traditional salt (because of the additional, natural 'ingredients'), but it does not stain anything - we've used it for many years and have fairly light-colored carpet. It also isn't as "dry" as plain salt, so you have to be a little more careful in spreading it, but again, you don't necessarily need to as much or as often.

So far only need to use the salt 1 time and it worked great. Bought it to have safe salt for sons dog when they visit. So far, we like it.

Magic Salt is the best snow melting salt used thus far. Snow melts instantly and does not leave a residue.

Works great, but is much more dense than some other products I have tried, so 50# does not go as far. Happy however to support this company and they were great delivering it to my door within a couple days of the order.
