Product Description

Neem oil is an organic standard for suppressing pests. We've had good success to prevent Black Spot on Roses, Powdery Mildew on Roses, and it's the best natural product for Japanese Beetles that we've found. Perfect for use on plants that get attacked by Japanese Beetles and Roses, Neem Oil is a go to Natural Insecticide and Natural Fungicide.

This 70% Neem Oil Hose End Sprayer is ready to spray and is perfect if you have more than one or two bushes that you'd like to treat. We also sell Neem Oil in a windex type squirt bottle (called Rose-Rx) that is more appropriate if you only have one or two plantings.

How to Use Neem Oil for Japanese Beetles

We recommend applying 70% Neem Oil to the plants in your yard that are most appealing to Japanese Beetles - you'll know which they are. You will want to make an application when you see Japanese Beetles on your plants and then repeat about every two weeks during Japanese Beetle season. Neem Oil will kill Japanese Beetles that it contacts AND repel Japanese Beetles for 1-3 weeks. I recommend applying in the morning or evening if possible so that you aren't applying in the heat of the day.

How to Use Neem Oil for Roses

If your roses are prone to disease problems we recommend a multi pronged approach that includes organic fertilization and proper cultural practices (never water at night, remove dead leaves from the ground etc.) If you still have problems, Neem Oil is a great natural solution to Black Spot on Roses, Japanese Beetles on Roses, and Powdery Mildew on Roses. Spray the roses in the morning or evening and spray them well enough to wet the leaves until they just start to drip. Once you see the leaves drip a little bit, you've sprayed enough.

How to Use Hose End Sprayer

There are two switches that you need to turn on for the Hose End Sprayer to work properly. First you shake the neem oil container slightly and connect the garden hose to the sprayer. Then you turn the flow of water on with the blue switch at the top of the hose end sprayer. When you want to add neem oil to the mix, turn the small red lever to the forward "on" position and the sprayer will automatically mix the neem oil with the water from the hose. Turn the red switch back to the vertical position when you're done spraying. This container should cover about 2500 square feet.

  1. Convenient and it works! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Aug 2013

All my perennials were getting black spots on their leaves and I cut them back and sprayed them. They grew back in and look great. I noticed a few leaves were spotted a few weeks later and I picked them off and resprayed. Everything looks great now and it has been about 3 weeks. I love the spray bottle, it is so easy.
